EBAY Jerks

I sold an item on Ebay that was broken when it arrived to the buyer. He insists on complete refund including shipping, I disagree. He also says it was packed badly and that the post office has no part in the damage. He was offered insurance and did not opt to buy it. I have offered him a refund, minus shipping. What would you do?

    I once saw this on an episode on People’s CourtThe Plantiff Won!But really… no insurance no postage refund.

    they opted out of the insurance, so they should not be given any refund at all. None. Zero.

    Well, at the advice of husband…partially – I gave him the price of the item no shipping. Jared said I should give him all of it, for my business’sake. But honestly, I really am totally unconcerned with the idea of him giving me negative feedback. He is a jerk and his comments mean nothing. Anyone who buys a breakable item with out insurance, off EBAY, deserves nothing! But, I caved. Oh well, chalk it up to experience I guess.
