Spaces in writing where they shouldn’t be. Like when you type, don’t put a space before you put an exclamation point. Why does this bug me? Dunno, just does.

I don’t hate these people, just get annoyed. Besides, you admit your mistakes. I am more bugged by people who attempt to sound “intelligent” and well read, “I went to this college and that”, the proceed to write like a second grader. If you say you are ignorant, then it’s fine. Otherwise, don’t tell us how smart you are then type up a paragraph that makes everyone cringe. Wow, that sounds mean. Oh well!

Hey, I ‘m showing up on your blog. I think I have covered my problem with the incorrect punctuation and space use. Besides the sight issue I guess I don’t care enough to be correct when writing on blogs. Isn’t a blog a personal journal that is supposed to be a casual free flowing thing. My children were told to journal in school and the rule the teacher told them was, “don’t worry about punctuation in your journals”. Also being a crappy typist has it’s limitations.
Are you an English teacher? I have noticed that some have this particular pet peeve.
It seems that few in California care or know about proper spelling or punctuation (or manners or basic math). I have been adapting to my culture.
What is annoying to me writing wise is the incorrect and over use of than & then to prolong sentences into ru-ons.

I don’t proof read before I post stuff.

Just a teacher. Hey you never know who might be reading this, and as I remember it, in school your journal was not to be read by anyone. That is why they said not to worry about punctuation or anything else. It really doesn’t matter at all in the long run, eh?

True enough.
It’s good to be passionate about something. Young people in our own families need to know how to write correctly.
Now I am trying to be correct in my blog writing.
I taught 6th grade for 6 years. The last 2 at V. Missionary. Believe it or not - I had to teach P.E. one period three times per week. One of my star students was the now famous Tom Stork!
