We saw the urologist yesterday. It was a great visit, if visiting the pee-pee doctor can be great. He confirmed the problem found on the ultrasound, which is that there is a urinary tract obstruction, causing the kidney to become full and distended. He recommended surgery to remove the obstruction and rejoin the tube. His kidney will still function and this should clear up his vomiting cycles. I have been reading that this is very common in kids and so this brings me to, WHY THE H*** DIDN’T SOMEONE SUGGEST THIS TEST BEFORE NOW-6 YEARS AGO!? Anyway, surgery is scheduled for January 3rd at 7:30 am at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA. All prayers are appreciated.
