old people get a license to be rude. it's what makes them cute, just like it's cute when the young people get frustrated with them. i know when i turn 26, i'm going apeshit!

i think that if you allow people to be rude to you...you are giving them a license to repeat it. And not knowing the situation..but knowing your husband...i think it is just your husband...ok ok im just kidding. But I do think that the older you get, in most cases, the ruder people can get. Not sure why...and not always the case..but very often the case. Maybe it has to do with how they've been treated for so long. Anyways speak up..or be get used to being driven over....
craig...yes its me

Hi Martha,
Good questions. I can appreciate your desire to stretch and grow. I know that for me personally, I find that as I age, it becomes easier for me to be who I really am. What I mean by that is that the camelion(sp?) of youth has almost disappeared and I find that I can be more honest about my insides and share them on my outside. No, age does not give one license to be rude, demanding, demeaning or just plain difficult. If you allow others to treat you disrespectfully there is no one to blame but yourself. Speak up girl!!!! And no, I don't believe it is just men. Mom taught me that!
Just my humble opinion. Take what you want and leave the rest. Love you.

Knowing the situation you're talking about (I think), I'd have to admit that it is more likely to be just men.

- JaredB
