Info-mercial
I forgot to post about this before…On Thursday Emma and I were invited to be in an infomercial for a real estate service of some sort. They help people who are in foreclosure to sell their house without losing a bunch of money and not go into bankruptcy. It was a long day, a lot of waiting which is what filming is usually, in my limited experience. Anyway, a few of my family members said I was a liar because I am considered “Testimony 5″. So, when I say I was in foreclosure, that it isn’t true and that is lying. But it’s acting. Right? We don’t actually think that all the commercials that the people come out and say, “I have ben suffering from Irritable Bowl Syndrome for years, now I have relief,” are actually people who have that problem? Do we? I don’t know. I don’t really care. We got on the camera. I got some great coaching and it was totally worth it, even if I didn’t get paid. So there.

Acting/lying…. it’s all relative. It’s the opportunity to be someone that you are not. So if that’s the case, is it really a lie to be someone else…. if only for money or experience? Pretending…. kids do it all the time, so why can’t we? Hmmmmmmm.

when someone is on tv and says, “bob’s sex change service is the best!” i assume they’re just an actor paid to say that.
if they say, “i got my sex change done by bob, and it was the best!” i assume they really did get a sex change by bob.

Personnaly, I beleive in 2 people from info-mercials : Chef Tony (Miricale blade) and Esteban (his guitare)…
When they finish man, you can actually think you can cut wood / plaster / metal with the knives and you realy believe you can become a guitare virtuoso in 12 easy steps…
