And the beat goes on…

And the beat goes on…

Surgery today was uneventful. They got a closer look at the tumors. Laser removal is not a practical solution what with the scarring that would take place and all. Now on to the more complicated measures. The one that looks to be most hopeful is taking out the piece of ureter, which is most of it and replacing it with a piece of his own intestine. They say they’ve done it, it’s rare, but it has been done. This brings me to evaluate healing and what it means. God told Christian he was going to heal him. Does that mean “poof” it’s all gone? Obviously not in our case. In the case of blind man in the Bible, when the disciples asked why he was blind, well here is what it says,

John 9:1 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?

He is getting a bit tired of it. But, I told him that they would be doing a major surgery this time and he will probably be in longer this time, he was totally fine. He said, “ok”. It may be a different story when we get there, but he knows it is a process at this point. I think he’s being a trooper.

    Hi, it’s Kat.

Kids are so darn resilient… They don’t know the word “victim”… so they don’t act like it’s a big deal. I’m so proud of Christian too… then again, he’s always been mature for his age. We love you guys so much. You know where in our hearts you hold residence! xoxo
