He’s 9!
I can’t believe that I am the parent of a 9 year old! Happy Day to Christian…one sunny hot day in October, 9 years ago, we took an hour drive to Queens Hospital in Hawaii. 24 hours later, 4 of which were pushing and culminating in a vacuum delivery - our first born entered the world, on his due date, no less. It has been a blast ever since. I put this picture in becuase it reminds me of when he was a baby and people (mostly strangers) would try to talk to him and this was very close to the look he would give them. At the time it was very embarassing, but now I look back and laugh.

Then a college grad! Then a daughter in law! Then a grandson!

9 years! can you believe it? i remember when he was 3 and i was taking him through the drive through at carl’s jr. he was saying “thank’s for coming”. i asked him what he was talking about and he pointed to the sign on the exit door which we were passing by. “thanks for coming” was posted on the INSIDE of the glass door so people would see it as they walked out. he was reading it from the outside as we drove through the drive through-BACKWARDS! yeah, i taught him that!

9 years old! Wow! Amazing how time goes by! Almost double digits, then his golden birthday! Have a fun day! Did you make cupcakes for his class?
