No more car seat!

Time for a positive post! Riley turned six on sunday and we celebrated by removing his car seat! He’s a big boy now! No we can legitimately put him in the big kids area at the Y, too! hee hee!

it’s funny to think he sat in a carseat. I can’t imagine how big levi will be when he is 6….and still in a carseat.

I know what you mean, but at 60 lbs you can just use the little booster thingy, so you don’t have to wait til 6 years old if he weighs enough. My kids are featherweights.

Yea, I’m pretty sure it is 6yrs or 60lbs but not both (like the 1yr and 20 lbs) My kids will be in carseats until they are six without question, scrawny butt kids.

Congratulations Riley! Now you have to get a job though. When I was a kid, anyone old enough to sit in the car without a “car seat” (a wierd term since everyone sits in a car seat when driving/riding in a car) was old enough to work down at the factory riveting together some peices of metal. It’s time you pull your weight around here.
