We had a super fun Zoo day. Glad we could go.

This saying bothers me. I’m not sure why. I think it implies teachers are lops. Am I not getting the meaning?

Tomorrow night at our house, 6:15pm. Potato bar…I’ll have the potatoes and a few drinks, you bring the stuff’ns! Everyone is welcome!

I learned something today. A sideache when exercising is the result of your liver trying to remove the lactic acid produced by your muscles while running or whatever, and there is too much at once. Interesting, eh?

Some have commented on my picture of a purple speedo on my flickr. So, here is the mystery. A friend on the Body for Life site was telling of a dream she had of some guys wearing purple speedos. So I found one on ebay to offer up in case anyone was interested. And there you have the mystery solved.

Here is the before shot -and after, plus the work of Jared on the shower door is on flickr. Now all we need is cabinets, a sink and a mirror and we’ll have a fully functioning bathroom in our room! Yee haw!

The 4th was a blast! We went to the Street Festival for about 10 minutes. A little boring in my opinion. Definitely not the p[lace kids want to be. Then we spent the rest of the day at the VC pool. Thanks Dan & Sara! The kids swam for about 5 hours, including the boys jumping off of the 3m board, and then the front row seat for the fireworks was amazing. The finale was great. ( Really, Jared, it was. ) An A+ day!
