Day two…
School for me has begun. My kids have another week. I survived, although today was a pain becasue we do picture day which takes forever and we get nothing accomplished. We either need a faster picture guy, or do pictures before school starts. Yeah, I like that idea.

like high school. do it on orientation day. another suggestion: ditch orientation. just have a back to school night a couple of weeks in.

are the pictures of the students or the staff? i thought the kids went to your school…or maybe this is just teacher prep week???

What do you mean, Lisa? Ooohhhh…Middle school starts a week before elementary. Pictures would be of kids. Yes, we would like to ditch orientation, especially for MS. It is so pointless.

You mean at college heights they start the older grades earlier than the younger ones? Thats just wierd.

It’s actually quite nice. We get the older kids in line so they can fall in when the younger ones get there. IT originally started when they needed the extra week to compensate for the DC trip.
