Ok, here’s something new.
I got a lot of this from my students. Yay. Something I won’t eat. Basically they got me nothing. I’m grateful for the thought. They know I don’t eat junk. Ah well.

I get the same thing from some of my clients. They give me candy or goodies, knowing that I don’t eat that stuff.
I commented on your last post.

I should say that one piece is not the problem. It’s like 6 boxes of candy. Plus all the coookies, too. Just to note: There is A LOT!

hmmm…I like the ones with sprinkles. In fact every christmas James gets me a box of just those…..it’s wonderful…..We got our teachers a starbucks package…mug and gift card. Sucky no one thought of that for you. I wouldn’t want choclate either….it’s not like a box that size is a cheap either, maybe you should re-gift them to your kids teachers, of the mailman or garderner type people.

Geez! Six boxes of candy? That is kind of weird. Was it on sale at Target or something? Just kidding. Hopefully you’re going to a few Christmas parties- you know for the host! Oh yeah, you got booted “off the list” too, no parties for us! I am sure Jackie P can use a few for the baskets she put together for the hospice group- just an idea!

Just thought of something else; even if your students aren’t aware that you are health conscious I would think they would have told their parents (since I am sure they didn’t pick out the candy) that you just got BRACES! Since most of them have braces too they would know that it is a bit painful right now to eat oowey, gooey stuff at this point. Besides the point that your not supposed to eat that crap with braces.

True, Sara. I think there wasn’t much thought in a lot of the gifts. I think most of it was “obligation”. There was one that was thoughtful, not something I’d pick but nice. It was an ornament with my name on it, a little school bus and books with Math and English written on them…very personal. I miss the girl who gave me the massage cetificates.
Oh and three of them were See’s not Target sale candy.
