I was having salmon for dinner the other night and getting a little bored with plain fish, so I looked up on the internet for a low fat, healthy way to cook it. I found this, which i slimmed down becuase I didn’t have some of the ingredients and wanted it to be quick.

I rubbed kosher salt on the salmon (not good if you are watching your salt intake) and a little pepper , sprayed the pan with oilve oil. I cooked it on low in a frying pan. While it was cooking I mixed up some mustard ( it called for brown, but all I had was yellow), put a spinach/dill seassoning in and a splash of lemon juice and let that sit in the fridge while it cooked. then I just dipped each bite in the mustard mixture. It was so good! A really good change from plain ‘ole fish. It was a little salty, but delish.

Did you know that there is a name for the thing you do when you plug your nose and blow with your mouth closed in an effort to pop your ears? This is it. I learned something. Probably not that useful, but interesting.

We’re going to look at 3 houses today! I’m so excited. I’ve never looked at houses before with actual intent to buy. I’m just praying that the right one is available at the right time. I told Jared it kind of feels like spending a gift card. Once you pick something, you don’t get to pick again. I’m a little nervous.

After much prayer, conversation and begging God to give us wisdom,we’ve decided to move from here. Trevor & Sarah have graciously agreed to sell their part of the house they own with Jared, to us. This would make us official homeowners. Wow, who would have thought. I think this will be good for so many reasons. I hate to leave this huge place vacant, but it is for the best.

UPDATE: We really have no idea what we’re doing. Things have bounced around a lot since this post. Argh.
