The only slightly second worst thing after unpacking, or before…you know what I mean.

Birthday, Part 2

Friday, February 23rd, 2007

Tonight was Emma’s friend party. We had a few girls, who were very sweet. They put together “Animal Ark” animals (similar to Build A Bear) and this picture is of them showcasing their new “children”. (Thanks, Sara) They were so cute talking about how they came to adpot their babies and speaking in the laguage of whatever costume they were wearing. We had a cake from Dippin’ Dots, I had a nibble just to see what it was like, oh. yeah. I do not like Dippin’ Dots. This was <extremely> yummy. But, then again, maybe the lack of sugar has screwed me up. Anyway, it was a good party.

Rat Taco, anyone?

New Business Venture. Anyone?

An email I received today…

Sir,

Indeed, I seek your partnership and cooperation in my plans to invest in your country. Please, note that I would like us to work together as partners. This is because, I need you to be my representative there as I would rely on your guide in choosing the best possible areas of business to invest in. Certainly, our partnership would be on an agreed percentage of the business proceeds.

My reason for contacting you is that I want to invest in your country, because of the stable economy there, the monies from a contract job I executed some months ago along with my expatrait partner with the LNG. Moreso I want to have an investment outside of my country. But the problem I have is that the contract payment is to be received by my expatrait partner because he had a sixty percent execution capital of the contract and technical expertise. For this reasons, we had agreement before the NLNG that the contract payment shall be paid into a foreign account to be provided by my expatriate partner. Unfortunately, he died in the Belview plane crash in 2005. As a result of his untimely demise, I need you to stand-in as a representative of my expatrait partner to receive the contract money.

To achieve this, on your agreement, I will effect necessary documentation that will establish you legally and officialy as the representative of my expatrait partner before the company to receive the contract payment.

I earnestly hope that you would be able to assist me in this regard. Note that you will be entitled to the percentage of the sum due my late partner for your participation.

If you are capable and interested, get back to me at edwamayah65@yahoo.it with your contact details and direct phone numbers for further explanations.
Thanks
Edwardson Jeremaya.

I found this BLOG, and THIS was on it and so great. Glad I didn’t get the Fresh Whole Rabbit.

Something to lighten your mood.

“Dear Lord,” the preacher began with arms extended and a rapturous
look on his upturned face, “without you we are but dust…”
He would have continued, but at that moment one very obedient little
girl (who was listening carefully) leaned over to her mother and
asked
quite audibly in her shrill little girl voice, “Mommy, WHAT is butt
dust?”
Church was pretty much over at that point*

They love us and are glad to sell us the house! On March 9th if all goes well, we will be official home owners. Yikes!
