A couple of years ago some friends of ours bought goats through Heifer International then gave out cards to their friends and family that read something to the effect “We bought you some goats but figured you didn’t have anywhere to put them, so we have a family in Africa taking great care of them.” Jason and I are doing it this year.

We got my parents a goat last year…only we made it a joke and found a picture of “the” goat and faked delivery/care papers for them to prepare for. It was awesome

OMG I didn’t even see those. That is simply AWESOME! Hope the family wants some of these is their name this year! Woo hoo.
We may even ditch the Christmas Tree.
